Sometimes looking at something in a simple way can open the door to a great understanding. If we apply the above statements to the question, "What is happiness?" It's my belief that a good state of health is a big part of the answer.
Your health is always moving, toward sickness or toward wellness. Are you maintaining good health or are you loosing ground day by day? It's important to know where your health is and to admit what direction you are going in. Then make new choices to shift your actions so they are in line with your new health goal.
Our health influences our thoughts. Good health makes us feel strong, full of energy and on those days we have high aspirations about what is possible. Thoughts about others, solutions and ideas are more confident and courageous, they even have a feeling of fun to them. This kind of day leaves us full of pride and joy and builds us up as a person.
But a feeling of low energy, nagging pain or a headache will influence us to do the minimum, cut down the size of our projects and we deliver less in creativity and quality than we are capable of. This erodes our self esteem and increases the possibility of failure in what we do. Fear, anger, sadness and other negative feeling increase! We see the next day as a source of pain and frustration.
